SANTA MARÍA

LOS CABOS

BAJA CALIFORNIA

SUR

Santa María House emerges as the continuation of a residential project set along the bay of Los Cabos, conceived as a guest residence that complements the main house beside it. Rather than existing as an isolated volume, the project is envisioned as a natural extension of the estate, establishing a seamless spatial and visual relationship between both residences.

The site’s privileged location, with unobstructed views toward Santa María Beach, became the defining element of the architectural approach. In response, the common areas were conceived to fully embrace and frame the surrounding landscape, allowing the immediate context to shape the experience of the house.

The architecture is organized through a longitudinal axis that extends from the street toward the main social areas, guiding the spatial sequence and structuring the program along the western edge of the property. This arrangement not only maximizes the views toward the bay, but also creates a fluid connection between the guest house and the main residence, unifying the ensemble as a whole.
