From its setting to its finishes, Desert House is deeply connected to its surroundings and context at the foot of Chino Canyon in Palm Springs. Surrounded by rocks on gently sloping terrain, the house rises lightly above the land—never imposing on it—yet maintaining a powerful bond with the earth.

Guided by the principles of desert modernism and inspired by the work of Richard Neutra, the design emphasizes horizontal lines, natural materials, and the seamless visual and physical connections between indoors and out.
