SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
GUANAJUATO
As part of a neighborhood revitalization initiative, the government of San Miguel de Allende and Ezequiel Farca Studio transformed a vacant lot in the Mexiquito district into a vibrant community art center.
The project is organized around a central corridor that connects the street to the rear of the site, linking three symmetrical galleries built with locally sourced materials and a series of open-air spaces designed for exhibitions, cultural events, and temporary installations.
Set within a landscape of cultivated fields, the intervention unfolds as a cultural corridor that brings together art, community, and public life. Its flexible outdoor spaces encourage gathering, dialogue, and exchange, creating a place where local traditions and contemporary artistic expression can coexist and thrive.
