The Benetti yacht is 140 feet long and four decks high. Its program is similar to that of a luxury home, with added technical spaces that allow the boat to sail through the waters its users wish to navigate. Yachts pose challenges that one would not encounter designing traditional architectural spaces. The elevator that leads to the sundeck - a client request that was necessary for the program to function - was a real challenge in terms of engineering and mechanincs.

apart from the general layout, several “highlights” were identified to guide the design, such as the use of double-height stairs featuring an illuminated onyx wall and the main cabin’s great balcony, which has an automatic mechanism that opens it to the exterior, further amplifying the cabin.
