BALDI
BEVERLY HILLS
LOS ANGELES
USA
When second-generation restaurateur Edoardo Baldi opened Baldi at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, the vision was clear: to create an Italian steakhouse rooted in ritual, hospitality and enduring craft. Located on the terrace of the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, this space is not a literal recreation of Tuscany, yet its spirit is unmistakable.
Baldi is envisioned as an Italian steakhouse shaped by the culture of Italian hospitality and dining ritual. The design draws from the warmth, craftsmanship and shared table traditions associated with Italy. The emphasis on terracotta hues, natural materials and layered intimacy reflects this foundation.
Wood plays a defining architectural role. Slatted partitions and latticed screens introduce rhythm and permeability, allowing guests to see through spaces without full exposure. This filtered openness creates discretion without isolation, a balance that feels particularly attuned to Beverly Hills, social yet private, vibrant yet composed..
