MONTANA HOUSE
SANTA MONICA

One of the defining challenges of Montana House was creating a seamless relationship between its modernist architectural language and interiors that convey warmth, comfort, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
Natural materials, rich textures, and warm-toned furnishings were carefully selected to soften the precision of the architecture while reinforcing its connection to place. Wood, stone, and tactile finishes introduce a sense of intimacy, balancing the clean lines and restrained geometry that define the home’s modernist character.
Rather than existing as separate disciplines, architecture and interior design engage in a continuous dialogue. The interiors extend the architectural vision, drawing inspiration from the natural environment and creating spaces that feel both refined and inviting. Through this approach, Montana House becomes more than a residence—it transforms into a warm retreat where contemporary design and nature coexist in harmony.
